Voter Registration

The Organizing for Action Network (OFA) ofa.us launched a nationwide effort to bring voter registration to communities across the country through their partnership with Vote.org.

I am participating in the MLK Day Weekend of Service event by providing resources to help you verify your registration status, and register to vote. I will also provide contact information to assist you with your questions.

Visit the Organizing for Action Network at ofa.us if you are interested in getting involved in upcoming local OFA activities.

Are you registered to vote? Have you moved since you voted? Your information needs to be current.

Verify your registration status at https://verify.vote.org/?partner=857081

Visit https://www.vote.org/voter-registration-rules/ to find out what the voting requirements are for your state.

If you are not registered to vote, visit https://register.vote.org/?partner=857081

Military and overseas voters please visit https://www.overseasvotefoundation.org/vote/home.htm

Contact your Secretary of State at http://www.e-secretaryofstate.com if you have any questions about voter registration.

Use your smartphone, tablet, or computer to visit the websites.

Check your voter registration status within the next two weeks. Check sooner if your state has an election in the near future.

There are many reasons to vote. Fairness, decency, and democracy are on the ballot.

Progress, tolerance, justice, good schools, and ending mass incarceration are also on the ballot. (Former President Barack Obama)

Make about reminding America “be true to what you said on paper” and building the Beloved Community by eradicating racism, war, and poverty; not just about a day of service. Let’s dedicate our lives to justice and peace.  (Bernice King)

Voting is the foundation stone for political action. (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.)

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.)
